The MWCPSAA is happy to offer chapter members the opportunity to play flag football in the Capital Alumni Network (CAN)! CAN is a network of college alumni that gives alumni like us the opportunity to play in organized leagues in the Washington DC area. This means that we'll play games against other colleges, and match up against alumni specifically from that team. Having games against traditional sports rivals such as Pitt, Michigan, or Ohio State offers the opportunity for our alumni to play in games that seem to have a heightened sense of atmosphere. Instead of your standard recreational leagues, these competitive leagues offer the all-important aspect of bragging rights to each game.

The flag football team plays its games in Anacostia Park on Saturday mornings, and will follow most games with a trip to one of the chapter's viewing sites to watch that day's PSU football game. The season begins with a preseason tournament in late August (this year, it's on August 29th), and the regular season will begin the week after Labor Day. The season concludes with a postseason tournament in December.
