Shamrock Fest is the largest St. Patrick's Day Party in the DC area, and the MWCPSAA has teamed up with the Capital Alumni Network (CAN) to offer you a special opportunity! Buy tickets to Shamrock Fest 2010 on March 13th from 1pm to 9pm at RFK, and a portion of the proceeds from your ticket will go directly to the 2010 Scholarship Fund! Just use promotional code GRN4PENN when you purchase tickets, and some of that money will go directly back to undergraduates starting in the fall 2010 semester!
You can also help support cancer research by participating in the Chest Bump Against Cancer. You can donate some money to the Susan G Komen Global Race for the Cure and get in the Guinness Book of World Records in the process!

Be sure to BUY YOUR TICKETS early, as VIP tickets are sure to sell out, and the prices will continue to rise as the event gets closer. Please use the following steps to purchase tickets from the ShamrockFest site:
1. Go to http://www.shamrockfest.com/2010/tickets.php. Click on any of the ticket types. This will load a new screen.
2. Select "Purchase". Click on Event "Shamrock Fest 2010". Select the ticket type your want (Main Event or VIP, with or without admission to Chest Bump Against Cancer).
3. Scroll to the "Promotion Code" field at the bottom of the screen, and enter GRN4PENN. The click on "Verify Promotion".
4. The words "Total Promotion: Penn State University" should appear below your order.
Note: For every 100 tickets we are able to sell with the GRN4PENN code, we will receive our own alumni chapter table at Shamrock Fest. Please remember to use the code and encourage all of your friends to use it too!

While you must go to Shamrock Fest's site to buy tickets, the Chapter is also in talks with CAN and Shamrock Fest about possibly getting an area specifically for PSU alumni at the event. If you would like to let the Chapter know you have bought tickets, please click this link to register on our website. This will alert us to keep you posted on any chapter developments, but has nothing to do with your admission to the festival.
