You know, we don't take enough time here at the chapter to thank you, our members. You don't realize all that your membership and participation means to us, and we'd like the opportunity to show you.

We've chosen this one event to show you what you can do through the Chapter. We're going to set up the event as a sort of career fair, where you'll meet:
- Our Board Members, to find out what the PSU board does for you
- Coaches of our sports teams, to find out more about the seasons and how to join
- Representatives of businesses where the chapter has member benefits
- Representatives of some local organizations we participate in, including community service and volunteering opportunities
- Fellow PSU alums in the Metro DC area
- and many, many more people!
This is your time to find everyone in the same room, where we're sure great ideas will come. And this give you the chance to meet each other! The PSU DC Chapter is the largest local chapter in the country, and each of you has an interesting story to tell. Why not share it with other Penn Staters? Maybe you'll find out common interests, backgrounds, or careers.
And just to add some more incentive, we're offering you the following:
- Your first beer is on us! (A drink ticket will be given to members when they arrive)
- We'll be raffling off tickets to see PSU play Indiana at FedEx Field!
- We'll be raffling off an iPad!
So that's right... come on out June 24th, and learn more about us, and maybe walk away with some football tickets or an iPad in the process!
Note: You must be a Chapter member to be eligible for the tickets or the iPad.
But don't worry... you'll be able to register as a member in person at the event for just $10!
